Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule said his administration is constructing 100 housing units for workers in the state.
Engineer disclosed this while inaugurating the committee on the implementation of promotions and salary arrears for public servants on Monday, at the Government House.
According to him, government is making concerted effort to provide more conducive accommodation for deserving civil servants.
The Governor disclosed further that the project, which is currently ongoing along the Keffi-Kwandere road, is in collaboration with the Federal Mortgage Bank.
He explained that the decision to build the houses was out of concern for the housing needs of civil servants, adding that his administration will continue to synergize with appropriate institutions, as well as private investors for the benefit of workers in the state.
