Hope Brisk for Youth Initiative Honors Benue Sons and Daughters

A  non governmental organization named Hope Brisk for Youth Initiative that is known for high level integrity which primary aim is to raise youth awareness on self employment through skills acquisition as career entrepreneurs on Friday, 12th November, 2021  honored illustrious sons and daughters of Benue State with award of excellence for their impacts to society through the development of the youth.
Those who were given award of excellence at Kimbis International Hotel in Makurdi, the Benue State capital were Mr. Ishamael Shangevzua Agan, Resident Federal Auditor, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja; Mr. Vershima Orvell-Diô, Executive Director of Dooyum Dio Foundation who doubles as Head of Public Relations, National Library of Nigeria; Mr. Solomon Aondona Igbayue, Assistant Director of Policy Competition and Economic Analysis Department, Nigerian Communications Commission, Abuja and Vihimga Terungwa Lawrence PhD (in view) who is the current President of the Benue State University Alumni and Member, Governing Council of the University.
Others who were also honored with awards were Hon. Dr. Hwande Stephen Terungwa; Ms Amanda Feese; Chief Ngutor Anyam, Hon. Mrs Esther Iember Shika JP; Hon. Bro. Bernard Aondoaver Unenge KSM and Dr. Joseph Ngbea. Others included Steven Terwase Ayua; Amb. John Philip Mbakpenev; Mr. Wilfred Kator and Comr Solo Dzuah.
On separate notes, Mr. Ishamael Shangevzua Agan, Vihimga Lawrence Terungwa, Vershima Orvell-Diô, Amb. John Philip Mbakpenev spoke and pledged their unalloyed support to work and partner with Hope Brisk for Youth Initiative to encourage unity and the development of the youth.
”In my powers, I will lobby government and non governmental agencies as well as foreign bodies to pattern with Hope Brisk for Youth Initiative to better the lives of our youth.” Mr Agan Ishmael said.

Mr Vershima Orvell-Diô who was represented by his younger brother, Mr Seember Dio promised to rally around Hope Brisk for Youth Initiative to make the lives of the youth a better one just as he has been doing through Dooyum Dio Foundation.

Mr Vihimga called on all the youths to actively participate in politics stressing that the youth are leaders of today not of tomorrow.

In one accord, the awardees expressed satisfaction about the aims and objectives of the organization and thanked the executive EXCO and members of the organization for finding worthy them of the awards. They advised that such gesture should be extended to other people who have distinguished themselves for the development of the youth.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Benue State Coordinator of Hope Brisk for Youth Initiative, Mr. Moses Anyiman spoke elaborately and welcomed all those who made it to the event and wished them best of award ceremony.
In his keynote address, the President of Hope Brisk for Youth Initiative, Mr Noah Yaji appreciated all the awardees and the invited guests for honoring the august occasion. He reiterated that the organization aims to advance the well-being of the youth population stressing that contributions in cash and kind from members of the public will go along way in helping to achieve the noble agenda of the organization.
Mr. Yaji appreciated those who contributed for the success of the ceremony and wished all who attended journey mercies.
It will interest you to know that Hope Brisk for Youth Initiative is an initiative conceived and organized by concerned Nigerians who are motivated by the need to engender the sustainability of the youth culturally, intellectually, politically, spiritually and otherwise.

The idea of Hope Brisk for Youth Initiative was conceived five years ago but was registered in 2020 with the Corporate Affairs Commission under the name Hope Brisk For Youth Initiative.
